Terms, in plain English.
Written to be read rather than survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.
What we provide
DoctorMySite runs 54 checks against a website address you give us and returns a written report describing what we observed, what we think it costs you, and what we suggest changing.
The report is our informed opinion based on established practice. It is advice, not a guarantee of a result.
What we do not promise
- We do not promise more customers, more bookings, more revenue, or a search ranking. Anyone who promises you those is guessing.
- We are not a security audit. Passing our scan says nothing about whether your site is secure.
- We do not guarantee we will find every problem. A scan looks at your homepage and the pages it links to directly.
- Our estimates of effort are estimates. The person doing the work may reasonably disagree.
Your side of it
- Only scan a website you own, run, or have been asked to look after. Do not use this to survey a competitor.
- Do not use the service to overload a website, including your own, with repeated scans.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Give us an email address you actually control.
If an account is used to attack or overload other people’s websites we will close it without a refund.
We never change your website
A scan is read-only. We do not ask for access to your site, we do not install anything, and we have no technical means of altering your pages. The only exception is the done-for-you plan, where you explicitly ask us to make changes and agree the work first.
Paying, and stopping
- The free scan requires no card and cannot turn into a paid plan on its own.
- The full report is a single charge of $15. Nothing recurring is set up behind it.
- Monitoring is $25/month, cancellable from your dashboard at any time. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee. It stops at the end of the month you have paid for.
- Prices are in Singapore dollars.
Refunds
If a report is not useful to you, email hello@doctormysite.com within 14 days and we will refund it in full. You keep the report. We will not ask you to justify it.
For monitoring, we refund the current month if you have not used a re-scan in it.
Your report is yours
Once you have paid for a report you may keep it, print it, and forward it to whoever maintains your site. You do not need our permission to act on any of it.
The site, the check list and the wording of the reports remain ours. Please do not resell our reports as your own product.
Liability
We take this seriously and we will fix our mistakes. But we are a small business providing advice, and our liability is limited to what you paid us for the service in question.
We are not liable for what happens after you or your developer make a change to your website. Test your changes.
Closing an account
You can delete your account and all data attached to it from your dashboard, at any time, without contacting us. It is immediate and cannot be undone.
We may close an account that breaches these terms. If we do, we will tell you why.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially we will email account holders before the change takes effect, not after.
